Funded by Communities and Local Government, the I-Lab provides a creative space that takes participants out of their everyday learning environment. Offering inspiring surroundings, innovative technology and expert facilitation, the I-Lab has been designed to help groups to think clearly and imaginatively.

A circular space with whiteboard walls, the I-Lab is fully equipped with networked computers and wall-mounted plasma screens. Lighting and background sound can be controlled to create the right ambience and help users to harness their skills and work towards finding a solution.

Bringing together expertise from diverse areas such as systems analysis, psychology, business studies, political science, theatre, sound engineering and interior design, the designers of the I-Lab have created an unusual, exciting and productive environment in which to work.
